I have a G502 Proteus Spectrum, and just purchased a G502 Lightspeed which requires G Hub instead of LGS. I agree that LGS is better than G Hub, for Mouse and Speakers (G560 lighting) purposes. And the manual wasn't that big of a help. It was frustrating to try to learn a new software and figure things out as it's not very intuitive. Hope this helps all of those who have been having issues. I use only one profile for all my games and browsing, so once your profile is set to onboard memory on the mouse, G-Hub doesn't need to be running anymore. If you have any questions about macros, etc., you'll have to ask a more experienced member who's played around with G-Hub more than I have. That's the extent of my knowledge of G-Hub. Just make sure you choose that particular profile for your onboard memory slot.Īlright, folks. You can create as many profiles as you like on your computer. That's it! You just saved your binds to Onboard memory. Under "Slot 1", pick the profile you just programmed your buttons to. Now your page should look like this where you'll see 5 onboard profiles. You'll be taken to this page, where in the middle-right side, you'll see a button to switch Onboard Memory Mode to "On". Once you have your buttons programmed to whatever you like, then click the gear icon in the upper-right corner. Those arrows will switch your mouse view from top buttons to side buttons. Note: On that page where the mouse is, you'll see an arrow on either side of the mouse at the edge of the page. You can make macros, use keyboard letters, and many other options. You just simply click on a button, it turns blue, then you can make that button whatever you like over on the left side column. Make sure your Profile is set to Persistent, Desktop Default in the upper-left corner of that page before you do anything. When you first start G-Hub, this is what you'll see first.Ĭlick on your mouse and you'll be taken to this page where you can configure your lighting, buttons and DPI via the icons at the top-left. The links below will include images to help show what I'm explaining. This post will attempt to explain how I did it for others who are having the same issues. And it took some frustration and learning on my own to figure out how to bind my buttons, and use an onboard profile. So basically, I've never used G-Hub before.
